Define Customer Personas

 

A customer persona is a semi-fictional archetype that represents the key traits of a large segment of your target market. Here is an example of a customer persona for a professional networking app:

“Derek is a 35 year old tech lead at a large multi-national bank who enjoys cooking and taking courses online.”

Giving life to your prospective users gives you insight into their attitudes and concerns which could drive them to choose your products, your competitor’s, or none at all. This insight will help you shape the functionality that you want to include in your initial product.

 

Come up with a customer persona for each of the major segments of your target market.
