Setup Inflows of Information

1. Setup two business email addresses dedicated to your startup. One using your domain, like name@domain.com. We also recommend creating a Gmail address because it will give you access to Google Drive which widely-used for creating, storing, and sharing documents and files.

 

2. Setup Google Alerts for keywords related to you, your product, and your competitors. Google Alerts is a service offered by Google where you can enter a keyword and Google will email you whenever new results show up in Google Search for that keyword.

You should setup alerts for:

  1. Keywords related to your product
  2. Your competitors, because it will give you a real-time look into the moves they are making
  3. Your name, the names of your co-founders, and your product name

 

3. Setup an RSS reader on your phone, like Feedly, with the top sources for information pertaining to your market and technology.
