TBR Miami, in partnership Google, has announced the return of its tech startup international conference, which is set to take place in Miami, Florida this October 9-11 at the Silverspot Cinema.

According to Forbes, six years ago Trinidadian Kyle Maloney and Jamaican Kirk-Anthony Hamilton founded Tech Beach Retreat (TBR), in order to foster tech and business innovation and investment in a region of the world not vastly known for it—yet.

Their online platform and regular retreats in Jamaica and Miami—which have attracted such luminaries as Jack Dorsey, Co-Founder of Square & Twitter, and Jon Oringer, Founder of Shutterstock—are a “perfectly curated, refreshingly intimate melange of keynote speakers, panel discussions, fireside chats, workshops and, of course, vibes.”
